Dance Try outs and Tumbling

Ella and her friend Nikki have a private tumbling teacher at The Sports Academy.  It has been worth every penny.  She has gone just a few times so far this summer and has learned a ton already.  She has her back handspring down, but still feels scared doing it solo on the hard ground.  She is also working on her front aerial.  She is so close! She just has to stick her landing.

This year Ella tried out at a different dance studio.  We loved our old studio, but after a lot of thought, discussion and prayers about the choice, we decided to go to a new studio.  Ella cried about leaving all her dance friends, but she has some great friends at this new place.  She will be just fine. Change is difficult and scary.  It is hard trying out at a new place, where the teachers don't know you. Both her and I were scared sick, and honestly, waiting 3 days for the results was a killer.  But, she placed on the team that we wanted her to make; Junior Prep! It will be an incredible team and she is going to be able to grow and be pushed like never before.  We are so happy and excited.
