1st annual Alley Reunion

We all made it.  12 Alley's.  We spent 3 nights in Island Park and spent a day in Yellowstone.  We rafted/kayaked 3 miles down river.  We played pool, hottubed, scavenger hunted, painted nails, watched U v. BYU.  This was an awesome trip.

Back to school!

1st day of 6th grade for Ella and 1st day of Preschool for Parker!!  Ella has loved middle school- YIPPEEE!!  She loves her teachers, has never gotten lost, and has a lot of fun.  Parker loves Mrs. Lamb and is so excited every school day.  The best is when he sees me after class and come running to me as fast as his little legs will go.  Our goal was to be able to write PARKER before school started and he did it!

Daddy Daughter

Ella loves her daddy daughter dates.  They mean so much to her.  For activity days they do a daddy daughter day every fall.  This year they were asked to build a section of a mini golf course.  I thought this was odd at first.  But then I saw Ella and her dad WORK together.  They spent hours together, him teaching her about saws, hammers, staple guns working with wood.  All things she should know, but that I could never teach her.
They came up with a super awesome result.
