Fall vacation

This is what a vacation should be.  We made no plans.  We had no schedule.  If we wanted to lay around, we laid around.  If we wanted to go play, we went and played.  We did whatever our little hearts desired.

We seem to be so busy lately that the 4 of us are never together.  It is hard on me sometimes.  So taking this trip to St George was the best possible thing for our family.  We were able to spend 5 days of quality time all together.  There was no fighting.  There was no yelling.  There was no attitude from either kid.  There was a ton of laughing and smiling.  I feel like we are all a lot closer coming home than we were when we left.

***Thunder Junction. In-n-out. Swimming (missed outdoor pool by 3 days, had to do indoor pool).  Old school nintendo games.  Zion National Park.  Famous Daves.  Pizza night.  Painted nails.  Shopping at outlets.  Sleeping in. 5.5 hour car drive turned into 7.5 with traffic.  Parkers favorite-bunk beds.  Emerald pools and Weeping Rock.  Time to read.

Going home is so hard....

Ella just got the best experience!  Her team was asked to perform in Odyssey's Thriller!  She has had her eye on this role for some time.  And it did NOT disappoint.

Ella looked terrifying.  She danced amazing.  Her favorite was scaring people before, during and after the show.  She got some people really good.

We performed once at Ellen Eccles theater and twice at Kingsbury Hall.  What an experience!
Ella also met a new friend named McKade (wink wink) at her first performance.

Then Ella got to be a zombie for "Where you witches at" fundraiser for CAPSA.
