Summer Trip
Last summer our family took some big far away trips. This year we kept it more local. And the perfect reason for a 5 hour car drive to Cedar City was a brand new baby cousin.
We woke up at 5 am on Saturday morning to head down. Ella slept for 90 minutes, Parker was wide awake until right before we arrived. The trip was great. The kids were perfect and it felt like a fast drive. We finally got to hold a teeny tiny baby Zoey.
Oh we LOVE HER!!
Zoey is Ella's and Parker's first Alley cousin. Baby Zoey was getting all the attention, so Parker did what the baby did. Lay on the floor.
He is still my baby.
We went to dinner with uncle Jeff and Aunt Michelle, played some wii (Ella and I are now addicted) We walked through the car show and ate some super yummy snow cones. Parker spent his first night in a hotel. Conclusion-it's better to sleep at home in our own rooms.
We miss baby Zoey already.

Cousins
One of the best things about summer break is bonding with cousins. Ella has 18 of them and she has been spending day after day with a select few. I feel like I have not seen Ella for 2 straight weeks because of all the sleepovers and playing time at grandmas.
Bathtime
Parker loves bathtime. He knows 3 signs; more, drink and bath. I guess the 3 morst important words a kid needs to know.

Big Red
Summer does not start for us until the boat hits the lake. What a great feeling to have the wind back in our hair!!
Parker does pretty good, but the boat makes him pretty nervous. He likes to be held. Sometimes he naps, sometimes he doesn't. After a couple hours he does get fussy and wants off.
Ella lucked out. For the past 9 months she had been dreading going wakeboarding. Now with the cast- she got out of it! Stinker. Now she just enjoys the ride.
We also have a crazy uncle Cody.

Bear Lake
It was fun spending the day with cousins at Bear Lake.
Parker hated feeling the sand on his feet. He would do anything to avoid feeling the sand and if by chance it did get on his feet, he would make you take it all off.
