Summer Kick off

Summer break had been going strong for 15 minutes and Ella was off!  She got to go to St. George on a Grandma trip.  She told me before hand she is glad I wasn't going and that it was just the two of them.

They did so many fun things; hiking, swimming, fishing, daily crafts, time with baby Zoey, lots of eating out and late nights.  Ella and Grandma Alley have a special bond.  Ella was her only grandchild for 7 years.  They became best friends during that time.

I missed her the minute I left her with Grandma and drove away.  But Parker was so well behaved for 5 days without her!  She called one night crying because she was home sick but she had a ball.

Ahhhh....This is the life.  Recovering time from a long 3rd grade :)
