#1- Broken Arm

Ella wanted to ride her scooter around the block one time.  A few minutes later she came screaming around the corner, holding her arm, no scooter in sight.  Dad, having had many broken bones in his day, knew her arm was broken.  The ER said she broke one bone, they put her in a sling and said go find a dr to help in 5 days.  The Orthopedic dr that saw Ella diagnosed her with 2 broken bones; ulna and radius.  1st cast was light blue with sparkles and above the elbow.  A week later Ella got a super bright yellow cast (with sparkles of course) below the elbow.  In 2 weeks she will get a mobile cast that she can take off.  It is healing perfectly and she has not had any pain other than when the dr had to twist and push her wrist to set it correctly.

She has learned to write and eat and do everything with her left hand!

#2- Dad was gone so we could get away with this.  They had a ball dressing up in Ella's tutus.

#3- Pics of the kids and with the kids

#4- Our home away from home (Newton Dam).  It's only June and the water is too low to get our boat in.  This is the most Newton action we are going to get this year :(

Just for fun

Ella and Parker have LOVED summer break so far.

A new Alley baby

My baby brother and his wife are just a few days away from welcoming their first child to their family.  Its a girl.  We are so excited.  The Alley family has not had a little baby girl around since Ella was a baby.  She is going to be s.p.o.i.l.e.d.!!  My mom and I threw Michelle a shower when she was on her way back home from visiting her own family.

I'm pretty excited to hold this baby!
