School time!

2nd grade ready or not!!!
Ella finally got excited for school last night as we were laying out her first school outfit and packing her backpack with new pencils and erasers and santizer.  I remember 2nd grade very well and doesn't seem that long ago.  It's kind of crazy that now I have a child that old. 

I tried to get a picture of Ella and Parker together before school.  This is what happens when one of the kids is independent and mobile and does not want any part of it.

Summer is over?  Whaaaat?  This summer was fabulous.  Our family had so much fun, in fact we did some of the funnest things we have ever done.  Here are a few more random pictures of the last weeks of summer vacay.

 We all knew what Parkers first word would be.  And here it is!  1st 2 seconds of the video and he would not do it again.  Such a sweet little voice.

Parker has all of a sudden become very shy.  My brother that lives away came for a visit.  Parker does not know him very well.  Parker would crawl over to dad and bury his head.  Or lay completely down- thinking that Jeff could not see him if he did that.  Ella did the same exact thing at that age.
