Ella had her 1st competition of the season on March 14 at Copper Hills Highschool in Salt Lake.  We went down Friday after school to stay at aunt Monicas house.

We grabbed a couple dozen Krispy Creams on the way, and got some fresh hot ones!

 We had a pizza dinner and played with cousins

 Good morning sunshine.  She had it easy.  Being in Salt Lake made it possible to sleep past 5 am to get ready for the day.

 Naomi came to the competition with us.  They are both amazing dancers and love sharing this with each other.

She danced at 10:30. 12:30, 3:30 and 8:30.  With the big gaps in time we did have some time to kill. Lunch was at Monicas, and dinner time we went to Scheels.

We had great support from family.  Uncle Mikey came as well!

We got home past midnight on Saturday.

Lego Leader

In Ella's 4th grade class they take turns being the LEGO leader.  This is a time they get to show everyone else a little more about themselves.

Ella chose of course, dance.  She taught her class the moves in ballet, which they all tried out.  Then they all played a dancing game.  We had music playing and one by one they each contributed a dance move until an entire routine was made.  These kids seriously cracked me up.

Ella's teacher got really into it as well.  I love her.

Lyrical

Lyrical is my absolute favorite style of dance to watch.  This is where Ella shines.  So many times I have gotten teary eyed watching her perform.  Last night was no exception.
