Jr Elite & Jr Premier
Dance 16-17 was a huge success. Ella was a team member of the Jr Elite and Jr Premier team (1st year ever the studio did premier) She performed Jazz, 2 hip hops, and 2 lyricals. She also started pointe which she has absolutely loved.

NATIONALS!!
They won numerous 1st places, platinum rankings and overall studio. She made the most amazing friends. She took classes from famous dancers. They traveled to Vegas two times. She took Paula Morgan technique all year, and in Vegas she met the actual Paula Morgan and was a little star struck, lol.
And for the first time in Dance Illusion history, the studio has 4 teams going to Nationals, Ella is a member of one of those teams!

Dedication
One thing about Ella is that if there is something she wants to do, but cant....she works and works until she CAN. She does this with school, dance or in any other aspect of her life.
Last year Ella saw an older dancer perform a needle. She turned to me and said "I am going to learn to do that" At this point Ella was not even close to being able to do a needle. Ella is naturally flexible, probably one of the most flexible girls at her studio. So she thought it would be easy. But it was not easy. But she had made the goal to learn to do it so she kept with it. This girl- she stretched, practiced, watched tutorials, cried a bunch and worked so hard. It took a long time.
This picture was taken at one of her conventions/competitions. She stood in the middle of her team and performed her needle. And it is beautiful. She made it beautiful, and me knowing the work put into doing this, made it all that much more amazing.

Vegas #1 Adrenaline
February 2017- our first trip to Las Vegas. Our premier teams had the chance to travel to Vegas to compete and try to qualify for Nationals. Ella and I, Mia and Melissa, and Ava and Kim took the road trip together. We stopped for a night at Grandma Alleys house in St George.
The girls had so much fun in the car that the trip for them flew by. I also enjoyed the friends. It made the trip so much easier.
All 4 of our studios premier teams qualified for Nationals in all their routines!!
We drove the girls down the strip and they were pretty much amazed. And kind of shocked that there is a place like Vegas.
