I gave Parker his "almost 3 year old" photoshoot. He is still 2 for another month but I wanted to get pictures done before it was cold and yucky outside.
He was a lot more cooperative than he was last year but he still got sick of pictures pretty quick. He didn't like the dirt and crunchy leaves and slippery mountainside.
Nonetheless, I got some darling pictures of Parker. I have to post all of these because I cannot narrow any down to my favorites.

End of summer update
Summer has come and gone. Here is an end of summer recap:
We went out boating a couple more times. We took some friends on our last trip. Rex and Parker are the same age, but they don't want anything to do with eachother!
Ella got a much needed haircut. It ended up much shorter than I promised her and she was kind of upset at me for awhile.
Ella started 4th grade! She loves her new teacher. Even though her bestie and her "boyfriend" are in a different class, she has really enjoyed the new year.
And once again, she is a star student. I must post this note from her teacher the 3rd week of school because it does my heart good:

Grandma bought Ella a new school outfit and she wore it 3 days in a row; Friday to school, Saturday to a baptism and Sunday to church.
He is just so handsome. I love his blonde hair and blue eyes and perfect little grin.
And finally we spent lots more time with family. The fun summer party has come to an end. But it was a GREAT one!

Before the haircut, we did our annual summer braids; before and after.
Ella started her 5th year of dance. She will be dancing 5 hours a week for her company, 3-4 hours one Saturday a month for her specialty group (her and 5 other girls made the new specialty team) and a few hours of tumbling a month. I was very concerned about this being just too much for her. However, Ella was adamant on doing it all.

These two just actually might miss each other during the day, maybe?

Grandma bought Ella a new school outfit and she wore it 3 days in a row; Friday to school, Saturday to a baptism and Sunday to church.
This pictures is hard to tell, but we had an attack of the mosquito in her room one night. We counted over 20 bites over her arms, legs and back.
Dustin had his 35th birthday! Is it weird that I didnt get a picture of the birthday boy, but I got a pictures of the 5 star meal he chose for dinner? He smoked ribs and we had ourselves a quiet BBQ dinner.
We cant forget about Parker. He is just our crazy little boy. He has learned to count to 5. His favorite number is NINE and he will throw that in there sometimes. We have worked really hard on his letters. He recognizes and says A,B,C,D,E,I,M,O,P,S.
He has never been a huge fan of books (boo) until he learned these letters. Now he LOVES books (yay). I'm hoping he reads early like Ella did.
His big sister is the biggest influence on Parker (both for good and sometimes bad!)
He does an awesome kissy face now...learned from his sister
He is just so handsome. I love his blonde hair and blue eyes and perfect little grin.
Sometimes Parker doesn't like it when I work. Here he just want to cuddle, which is funny because he never wants to cuddle with me.
