The 4 of us drove out early to spend some time at Uncle Cody's house. They live in city called Parker (right outside Denver) We saw Parker streets, a Parker hospital, Parker stores, a Parker church. A city just for our little guy :)
The drive out was perfect. I always expect my kids to be bad in the car, but they never have been. 8.5 hours and not a single wimper out of either.
The full day we had in Parker we went boating. Uncle Cody is an avid boater just like Dustin. This boating trip ranked up in the top 3 boating trips of all time. It was overcast so we didn't fry. We wakeboarded, tubed, and surfed. I even got up on the surf board for the first time.
Dustins duck face.
Even though Cody had truck trouble right after boating - it was all completely worth it! (Truck died on major road during rush hour, some guy appeared to pull them off then disappeared, boys towed truck home 45 minutes away, then towed boat home another 45 minutes away in a complete downpour)
Our actual reunion was in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Our annual family pictures.
Parker. When we get him to smile its a beautiful smile. But man, he fights us on pictures. He is still handsome.
We floated the Yampa river; twice. It was that much fun.
Swimming, hot tubing, games, chilling. You name it, we did it.
We hiked to Fish creek falls. Very pretty.
Ella and Noami. Never apart. Never.

Parker reminds me so much of your little brothers (when they were little) He looks just the way I remember them. So cute!
ReplyDeletewhat a fun time! Dallin used to hate his picture taken at that age too! He used to put his foot up in all his pictures. He out grew it, there is hope! :)
